Eric Cevis

President, Verizon Partner Solutions

Eric Cevis is president of Verizon Partner Solutions, responsible for domestic and international wholesale strategy; including marketing, sales, customers and wholesale business operations.

Prior to his current assignment, Cevis was vice president of Sales for the American region within Verizon Global Wholesale. His responsibilities included Sales and Account Management functions for a variety of wholesale customers including mid-market carriers, major telecom providers, Wireless carriers, IXCs, CLECs, MSOs, ISPs, CDNs, Cloud Companies, Diverse Markets, and System Integrators in Canada, Latin America, Caribbean and South American regions. He was also accountable for Sales and Channel Strategy, Sales Support, Sales Process and Governance, Revenue Generation/Reporting, Account Planning and Channel Development.

Previously, Mr. Cevis was vice president of Verizon Enhanced Communities where he was responsible for the delivery of bundled communications services (voice, data, and video) to entire communities, including new construction and existing retrofit multi-dwelling units (MDU), new-construction single family, student, military and affordable housing as well as access agreements for small/medium business multi-tenant units.

In addition, from December 2003-2005, Mr. Cevis was vice president, business channel development, for the Verizon's Retail Markets group. This assignment focused on establishing partnerships for the introduction of value-added services, such as gaming, movie and music, as well as creating alternative retail distribution channels for the company's broadband product suite.

From October 2003, Mr. Cevis was vice president - business wholesale marketing for the Broadband Solutions Group within Retail Markets. In this capacity, Mr. Cevis was responsible for the DSL product line management for Verizon's business and wholesale customers.

Mr. Cevis also held several positions with Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group, vice president of sales for the Internet Service Provider market and vice president of sales for emerging markets. Mr. Cevis began his career in 1986 as a staff supervisor for the government systems division of Bell Atlantic.

Mr. Cevis has served as the national program chair of the National Eagle Leadership Institute (NELI), serves on the Advisory Board and is a member of the Verizon Employee Resource Group, Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives (CITE), the National Association of Black Telecommunications Professionals, and on the Boards of the National Multi Housing Council, and Verizon Washington, DC. He is also the Executive Champion for Disabilities Issues Awareness Leaders (DIAL), a Verizon employee resource group.

Mr. Cevis has served as the national program chair of the National Eagle Leadership Institute (NELI), serves on the Advisory Board and is a member of the Verizon Employee Resource Group, Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives (CITE)and the Executive Champion for Disabilities Awareness Leaders (DIAL), a Verizon employee resource group.

Eric serves as a Board member for the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School Of Business Board, and the World Trade Center (WTC) Board.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Cevis received a B.S. degree in Marketing Management from George Mason University in 1986. He continued his educational pursuits at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in 1996.
