Ralph has developed B2B and B2C technology products and services at Fujitsu, Nortel, IBM and four technology startups - three of which he was a founder. Ralph created and leads Fujitsu’s SDN/NFV Solutions Practice where he serves as Principal Consultant. The practice assesses, designs, integrates, and manages multi-vendor virtualized solutions using LSO, SDN, NFV and SD-WAN technologies that enable MEF 3.0 Services. Ralph’s team developed and is delivering Fujitsu’s SD-WAN-as-a-Service, an OTT subscription-based SD-WAN managed service. A founding member, regular contributor and mentor to several MEF projects, Ralph helped incubate MEF’s SD-WAN projects by writing MEF’s “Understanding SD-WAN Managed Services” paper and has provided significant contributions to accelerate the development of MEF’sSD-WAN Service Definition Technical Specification. He has published over 30 papers and regularly lectures at industry events covering use cases, solution architectures and best practices for SD-WAN, Virtual Network Services, NaaS, MANO, NFV, SDN, Lifecycle Service Orchestration, Carrier Ethernet, Network Virtualization, and Cybersecurity.
